1) Sports drinks
Unless you bonked your head really hard on the table when you were insanely drunk, dehydration is the main culprit of a hangover. Sports drinks are made for athletes who sweat a lot, hence they contain salts and electrolytes that the body loses through copious sweating. Now, you should be drinking lots of water when you’re hungover anyway, but a more concentrated dose of those salts and electrolytes might help hydrate you better. 2) Coconut water
If the high sugar content in sports drinks bothers you, then you can opt for an all-natural alternative in coconut water. Aside from its wonderfully refreshing taste, it’s an excellent rehydration option high in the same electrolytes that are in sports drinks – especially potassium, a mineral that gets depleted after a night of drinking. 3) Fruit smoothies
Pretty much any fresh fruit would do wonders in replenishing the vitamins and antioxidants that you’re deprived of when hungover. Bananas come especially recommended, for the potassium; lemons too, for the vitamin C. When you're feeling listless and fatigued, fructose – the natural sugar in fruits – gives a healthy energy boost. Even the fiber in fruit helps your body to break down and absorb alcohol faster. So throw your favorite fruits in a blender and mix up your own healthy hangover cure.

3oz tomato juice

A splash of Worcestershire sauce
A splash of Tabasco sauce
